Fun at Cosmo Park

I had a great time at Cosmo Park this morning. I got to photograph a fun and outgoing young lady for her modeling portfolio. We worked by the water, in the playground and on the giant steps, (I had to promise to take her to the top of them after the last picture was taken). Cosmo Park is also a dog park so we did photos around puppy paw decorations too. She has a great personality and is very captivating. Watch for her in the future!

More Roller Derby in Phoenix Arizona

Well, my last roller derby photo had a couple of comments and many search results, so here is another photo to enjoy. The flat track league in Phoenix is call Renegade Roller Derby. Their bout was held at Boos Warehouse in downtown Phoenix. There were about 200 people enjoying the action. I even recognized a couple I met at the bridal show, but sadly, they didn't recognize me.

Roller Derby Fun

Had some fun tonight. Went to the roller derby in downtown Phoenix. Set up two lights and took photos the whole time. This one was special. Girl on the lower near left is sliding at me, girl on upper left is rolling at me (just see her glasses). Glasses girl JUMPS OVER ME, sliding girl stops just in time. Camera saved, I got a great shot and cool story. Everyone should go to the roller derby!

Well, it's been a while.

I keep forgetting to add things to the blog. There have been some 17 photo shoots in the last 3 weeks, which is really busy for my. We also put in an offer on a house, look likes we'll be moving. I've traveled to California and Mexico, booked 3 more weddings this year and started shooting for a talent agency. Steady work is fun. Enjoy these photos and let me know when I forget to post.

Meet Brandon, a model from Phoenix

After months of work and discussion, Phoenix Model Development is live. This is a one day workshop for models and has lots of perks. Models get make-up, wardrobe, 3 photographers and lots of instruction. As well as portfolio hosting on our website and portfolio reviews. When the day is done, the model has a full portfolio.

Phoenix Model Development is put on by a group of photographers, make-up artists, hair stylists and wardrobe people. Lots of fun for all of us and a great service to models.
